JL is an amazing company. whats each coils load? im guessing 4 (if you told me, i forgot, sorry). In that case, the amp will suit you nicely

Go for then get the SPL db and post it!!
I've got 2 DVC 12" in a sealed box in my Impala's trunk. The magnets must be 10 inches in diameter. The company does indeed make great audio.
Any one know what JBL stands for?

ok so u think itd go with my type r nice 500 rms @ 4 ohms and then i just wire it parallel well it already is but yea u know what i mean.......how come this e1400 is so much cheaper then the 500/1 is the 500/1 alot nicer cuz i can find the e1400 for $279

Could be a refurbished amp. Also, ther could be better technology/better parts to with stand heat, ohm load on it. Contact their tech support.

not really thats y i was attracted to the e1400D but it says it only has a 6 DB bass boost would that be a bad thing cuz the 500/1 has like a 15 DB bass boost
