Check your constant wire, I believe it's yellow. If that's not properly connected it will lose power everytime you shut the key off and therefore resetting your settings. How did you wire it up? Wiring harness from factory to new HU? What connectors did you use?

I used the harness from my old unit, but the yellow wire broke off, so my dad used a connector to hook that up i may pick up a new wire harness.

if you did not use a harness (metra part number 70-1858, you wired up the 12v constant wrong. The 12v constant in the dash is orange, and the switched is yellow. YOu would wire the orange in the dash to the Yellow on the radio. and the yellow in the dash to the red on the radio.
