I would imagine that if your truck didn't already have the Monsoon system AND doesn't still have the factory HU installed then you're going to have a difficult time using it. You'd have to build custom input cables, find a complete pinout on the unit to even know what wires on the harness of the amp were even the inputs, and then hope they didn't use some jacked up proprietary input signal to run the damn thing with in the first place.

Not to mention the fact that the amp is only like 150watts to start with. For all that trouble an aftermarket amp would be MUCH simpler to deal with in the long run.

What are your plans EXACTLY? We can probably help you find a better solution if we have all the details.

yeah don't waste your time... you'd be better off picking up a self contained unit like a Bazooka with a built in amp and running RCAs from your aftermarket radio to it and tucking it somewhere in the back.

I'm not saying you have to only look at Bazooka for a system, they're just a pretty well known name. I'm a Kicker fan boy myself, I was hooked ever since I put a shallow 10" behind the back seat of my old Tacoma, and now I have a pair of Kicker 12's mounted in a ported box in both my 4 door Blazer and in my GF's Hyundai Elantra and they get down... Kicker makes some pretty decent speaker/box/amp all in one powered sub packages too
