I have the bose system in my blazer and am looking at replacing that system with all aftermarket stuff. But since I dont have the standard speaker bracket I cant measure the depth to make sure the speakers I want will fit with the standard brackets.

I.E. will a 6.5" speaker with a 6 in mounting depth fit in the stock, non Bose system speaker mounts?

 

I know for sure that a speaker with 6 inch mounting depth will not fit. You can probably get 3 or so inches with out the brackets, prob 4.5 with.
