Audio/Video Electronics Wired up? If you have some sort of A/V modification let's hear about it here. Discussion of stock electrical problems should be done in the 'Lighting & Electrical' section.

Well the tuning on tha prefab box is about 36hz iirc so that would be just fine for me. The setup i have picked out (as far as amp and components, box, etc) i chose after doing a ton of research, i'm pretty set on that, it's just the subs themselves that i'm questioning because they are pretty much off the shelf best buy subs, but then again alot of people love them.

Just curious if anyone has any sub options that might be more "bang for the buck" in the sameish price range.

As i said this is on the backburner at this point, i just spent$1300 on a new computer to replace my old one and saving the funds again is going to take a bit of time.

I would go with RE Audio subs. I just got an SXX 15 inch sub. It did 145db on the meter at my local shop. Thats for a single 15 inch sub. Nearly killed my alternator. But, looking to upgrade it. Yeah, RE is the way to go. Just an opinion. The price was nice and I am sure for some 10's should be a nice price as well. Ported box is what I would go with.
