Audio/Video Electronics Wired up? If you have some sort of A/V modification let's hear about it here. Discussion of stock electrical problems should be done in the 'Lighting & Electrical' section.

Default My New Headunit is an @$$hole

I bought a complete sound system from my cousin for $500. It was hooked up professionally by a sound shop two years ago in his Tacoma. After six months, he removed the system and sold the truck. I am in the middle of installing it in my Blazer. I have a 10" kenwood excelon subwoofer powered by a 220W JLAudio Amp, a 300W JLAudio Amp powering the stock front speakers (soon to be JL Audio components), two kicker tweeters, and a kenwood excelon headunit. For some reason, my headunit is not picking up radio stations very well. I used a skosche antennae adapter, but it is an extremely loose connection. I feel like it may not be long enough to fit properly into the headunit plug. It will pick up maybe one or two stations, but most of the time it will just keep scanning. I have no idea whats wrong.

Sounds like you have a bad connection. I would try getting a better adapter. I usually get Metra stuff

Nevermind- im the @$$hole. Somehow I managed to plug the antennae adapter into the port clearly labeled "mic" for the microphone. Plugged it into the right port- works fine.
