I've got some 6 1/4s or 6 1/2s whichever the door size is, lol.
The cheapest set of components was $100 more than the speakers I bought... The box has my door speakers in it, more alpine goodies, lol.

Make sure you put an amp on those componets..your ears will thank you

hillbilly did they stop making the 300 amp alt for the 4.3's?? Because thats what i wanted be the sales guy at my shop phoned them and the biggest one i could get for mine was a 220amp...

They're not components, just round speakers... but yes, they'll have their own amp, lol, much better at filtering out the lows than my deck is... the HPF and LPF affect ALL channels...

I have two of the type-s 12's in my blazer running off an alpine mrd-605 and I like them. They would take alot more power than rated. They sound good and get loud for being only a 300 watt rms speaker.

The only crappy part is going to be running the wires for the door speakers, lol, well, that, and getting all the panels off to change the speakers out... I can't wait to get my speakers hooked up!

I can't get the sub to turn over without the other speakers distorting, lol

Any tips on how to get the kick panel off? mine seems stubborn...

Mine! lol, shop ebay, and wander down to the local car audio places and scope out the clearance tables... That's where my 4 channel came from!
