Default Need new speakers

I just blew my stock speakers( thank you brother dime) and need a new set, Id like to add a sub but my cargo space is very precious to me, what can I mount in the tailgate ot rear panels? whats a good brand for 4x6's and 6x9's? I have a pioneer XM stereo, maybe 2 years old but works great, has two sets of rear preouts, one front, XM,disc track and title display ect ect. What is a good small sub to use?

I dont want it to sound like I have half of the southside of ****cago in the back of my blazer but I want something to deepen the lows and keep the music the way I like it.

I appreciate the help

Well, first off, do you have a two or 4 door blazer and what year???? Need that info, because, older blazers only have 4x6's in dash and 6x9 in the rear. Think 95 and newer have capability of 4x6, 6.5 and 6x9.

Diamond audio, CDT, Focal, Boston Accoustics, JL (zip it Jag, no need to go on your warpath about how great JL is , lol) Rainbow.

The place I always start is www.woofersetc.com, the site has a great deal of manufacturers, and pretty decent pricing on them. Look around at some of those companies. Then head over to ebay and search for those models. also, you can get a small sub, CDT makes an * that will add to your bass, as well as JL. That is where I would start and let us know what you found, and then we can give you advide from there.

Its a 92 2/door, 4x6 and 6x9's, I should repharse, in sub i mean something 8" or smaller and a small amp, I dont enjoy tickets when my stock ones are loud enough( before they blew@ 14 years old) to get me a decible warning. Im looking OTC where I can get em and put em in, best buy blows big blue donkey nuts, I have FRY's near me I guess I can trek there and check em out. Ill check out the link this evening after work and fishing, thanks alot, Im out of the loop with new stuff, im old school.

those wont fit. Detroit, You aren't gng to get any more cost effective than online. I can tell you exactly houw to install everything,. Its pretty easy, should be able to to dash speakers, rear 6x9's and run wiring and such for a small amp in an afternoon. You could do it in about an hour if you are good and familiar on how to rip apart your truck. I get paid by installs, so I can dismantle a blazer, regarless of the year in pretty short order. Let me know.

what I was saying is the a few companies make 8 inch subs that sound pretty good. CDT, Alphasonik, Alumapro (these are friggin insane), to name a few.

I appreciate the offer but I can rewire a car in a weekend. Id like to hear how they sound before I buy em, Im picky with my money like that. Throw me some good sites and ill see what local places( speacialty stores/installers) have that I can hear. Just looking for good refrences and bad ones as well. Ive had systems before, but im talking mid/late 90's era in stereo hotness.

Last new sub I remember coming out was the square solo baric from KICKER that was like 95ish? I have a pioneer XM headunit and just want somthing small, I cant spend a ton of money on this but I figure a couple hundred to have the quality I want as well.
