Cool The new enclosure.

It has been awhile. Havent done much with the truck since. I finally started to utilize the cargo area for what it was meant for. Was getting tired of removing everything when i needed to carry something and Im passed the faze of big bass and wanted something subtle and could easily be removed. Anyways here is the setup I was running.

and here is the new enclosure. Its a 1940's suit case. Interior was fiber glassed, reinforced and sealed. 15" long 3" port ,final tune 35hz. Running a JL 10w3v3-4. Finished it off with the retro travel stickers. It will be held down on a bracket that it will slide on attached to the back of the seats. Lift to remove along with quick connect wires. No more then 30 seconds to remove.

I replaced my amps aswell. I am now running a JL XD 400/4 mini, which powers the JL c3 components up front and a JL XD 300/1 for the sub. Cargo area is still being worked on. Im currently working on putting down a retro style wood floor with chrome strips. Final pics will be up when complete.

+1 million internets for creativity!

Converting the whole truck to retro? Body color smoothies with chrome beauty rings, baby moons, white walls?

Just focusing on the interior for now. Eventually down the road, i would like to go retro, but it would need to be lowered to pull off the body color smoothies and white walls.

Thats cool. how did you seal the box though? I get the Fiberglass reinforcement, but that big crack all around it, how is that sealed?

Once I had everything where it needed to be. I fiberglassed it shut thru the sub opening.

That is probably the coolest enclosure that I have seen. Can't wait to see the final build.
