Default New Radio

Hi guys. i just put in my new radio today, and i have to say that i couldn't be happier.

That module in the back there is the one that i had to buy to keep the door chime (which i didn't give a **** about) but to also give my switched power.

That's the finished product right there. I couldn't be happier with the look, and the function of the radio. I bought the instal plate off of ebay (gm1583b if you want it). I wanted it more to make it look stock, than to use the actual pocket. I don't actually keep the ipod there, but i was just demonstrating the pocket.

Same shot, only with the ipod, with the alpine thing on the screen (very cool) and my hairy *** leg.

thanks guys. I decided to do the chime box because i didn't want to have to tap into the fuse box to get a 12 volt accessory wire. The crutchfield site said that it was 80 bucks, but then i got to the checkout, and it was only 40. It was such a huge surprise. I have to hand it to crutchfield, they are the best dealer of audio systems, becuase they give you information with your radio, not just a receipt.
