Ok well I cannot find a hifonics amp that will power 600-750rms...anyone got any ideas. Am I just headed in the wrong direction. I am kind of on a limited budget which is why I was thinking about going with that kicker box and subs.

Get someone in your area to build you a box, or build your own.

Well I wouldnt know where to go to have a box built, plus I am on a budget. I would love to find a box that looks exactly like that kicker box, that I can put 12" CVX's in, but they dont make a box to do that. And the box's that fit those subs are just these square ugly things. I dont know what to do, what have you guys done?

decide on what amp you want to run, then choose subs.

I would suggest looking into something other than the CVR's

The BX1606/1605 would be a good place to start.

maybe instead of 2 12's try a really beefy 15, the hifonics will make that biatch pump

I know, I would love to do that. But I am on bit of a budget. If I could just find a real nice box, I bet I could motivate my self to spend the money. I just cant bring my self to buying a nice amp and 2 nice subs and shove them into a plain jane box...

Well, just make it a temp box till you can get a custom built.

I've had the same crappy box for over 2 years

Ok, say I go with this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3867.html

Do I want to go with the 2 ohm one or the 4 ohm one? I was told if I go with the 2 ohm one then I should go with a 2 ohm amp.

what ever you get, you need an amp that will match the final impedance of your subs. but, if you get an amp that puts out around 7oo at two ohms, and more at 1 ohms, you can upgrade your subs down the road.

Well I was going to buy (2) 4 ohm subs and you guys said get a 2 ohm amp so I could wire it down. Now you are saying I need to buy an amp that puts out the same impedance of my subs. So if this is 2 ohms I need an amp that puts out at 2 ohm. I was just asking because I was wondering if I got a 4 ohm box and subs then I may be able to wire it to a lower impedance.

If you had to buy either the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm setup, which one would you get?
