if your sub enclosure is properly secured to the vehicle like its supposed to be, you wont have an issue mounting the amp to it. IF you box isnt secured down, i suggest you get on that before you get into an accident and it becomes a missle to the back of your head and your head goes "pop!". Velcro is not properly securing a box down by the way.

bolting that sucker down is the only sure fire way. Even that though isnt 100% reliable. Ive seen a spare tire in a lancer rally edition that was bolted in the stock location (in the trunk) fly through the rear seats and hit the back of the drivers seat - breaking the drivers shoulder blade during a head on collision. Just drill a hole through the floor of your blazer and run some long bolts and fender washers into the box.

In my blazer, since the rear seat is gone, I used the stock seat bolts to secure the enclosure with custom brackets.

well i have 4 eclisp 3-way 200watts rms speaks inplcae of stock they are an amaizng inprove ment but are 120-180 a pair, i have a boss amp(currently) 1800w and two pioneer 12" subs in a sub box which i built(bulid ur own box if you short on cash, mine was only $30 for supplies, but a preamde one would have ran somethin glike $120, so intotal the subs were 160, boith speakers and box, and amp was $199, tweeters dont really matter(arent nessary ritght away becasue if u get even 2-way speakers they aready have high quilty tweeters built in)

 

wow that couldnt be further from the truth. lol. Component speakers are and always will be far superior to coaxial speakers. having tweeters in front of your midrange (like a coaxial) blocks the sound waves and hinders the performance of the speaker.

Im glad you are happy with it. That is always the end result we all shoot for. BUT, just because YOU like it, doesnt mean that it is better than anything else out there. That also doesnt mean that coaxials are better than components like you said earlier. You cant base a statement as bold as that on your opinion. Please keep this in mind if you are going to try and offer your "advice"
