Default Optima red top 34/78

anyone have any problems installing these in a 98 blazer. mine just doesnt seem to fit very nicely. had trouble getting the stock power and ground terminals on, really tight fit. i have the tsunami battery post extenders and they almost touch the coolant resevoir. any ideas on this or should i just drop back to the the 75/25 so i have the normal room again. one more question do you think the marine battery terminals with the wing nut on them would be decent to put on the top post?
