RE: pa speaker
I had a 55 watter... or maybe it was the same 50 watt from radio shack. It was on my old '87 Pontiac that had enough room under the hood to smuggle a small family across the border. I tried wiring it up on the blazer, and the only place I could get it to remotely fit was behind the front bumper, just outside of the tow hooks. It was pretty squished in there, so I was afraid the sound was going to be too muffled/distorted, so I didn't finish wiring it up. I'll take another stab at mounting it when it gets a bit warmer out, after a week of 70* it's back down to 40 this week[:@]

RE: pa speaker
Mine fits behind my first gen grille bt I'm not sure you want to pay what mine costs new. I got it used but its for the siren I have to have in the truck. Its 100 watts and 11 ohms. Federal signal makes the smallest one I know about (dynamax) and they are about the best right now but sell for close to $100 used on ebay and still $170ish new. You might check on ebay for one thats smaller for just your PA cause I'm sure the ones I deal with are overkill for you.
This is a link to the federal signal dynamax
