Does anybody have a PA system on their Blazer? I was watching the hangover a few nights ago, and realized what fun could be had with this. lol Would this be difficult to achieve? What would be required?

 

I have a 20 watt PA system in my Blazer from my search and rescue days. You basically have two choices for a PA system. You can get a cheap-o squawk box from schucks that has various animal noises too or you can wire up a CB radio with a PA extension. The PA speaker itself is plug and play with just a simple headphone jack. For a basic setup you're looking at around $40-50 all the way up to $200+. Hope this gives you a starting point.

 

I'm wanting to wire up a CB and do the same thing. You can get a loudspeaker and wire it up under the hood. Then just run it off the CB radio like DSMayo said.

galls offers combo kits .. check out ebay .. stay away from them 20-40$ electronic sirens with music and animal sounds there junk and fall apart, and there not loud at all.

go with the galls brand or Code3, Federal signal, i have a galls basic siren i use mostly for the air horn, and a Code 3 VCon with 100w pa and electric Q siren.

i have a pa system in mine. i love it, me and my friends use it ALOT!
i bought a cheap cb radio from a pawn shop for $10. then i went to radio shack and got a loud speaker and audio jack for like $30?
but anyway its not that expensive, its loud enough to be heard from far away and is as fun as it looks in the movie.

 

When i get my money together, this WILL happen. hah
