Default POLK or INFINTY??

Looking to rip out the stock stuff and put in new speakers. In the 99 2dr I put in Infinity's but the bass wasn't that great. I have heard good things about the Polks and the low end. I know I need 6 1/2 - 6 3/4's for the front and rear doors on the 01 and 4x6 in the dash. My questions are as follows, is a 2 inch mounting depth to large for the front and rear doors? and should I stick with the Infinity's or go with the Polks? TIA

If you're looking for bass, add subs. You're not going to get much bass out of any 2 or 3way.

I have Infinity subs, doors, and dash speakers, with Alpines in the rear. The Infinities sound amazing.

Polk is good, Infinity is better. What model Infinity? Speakers aren't meant to produce low notes. That's what subwoofers are for.

never heard polk speakers, but my infinity's do sound nice.....as long as the bass settings are kept to a minimum.....otherwise they make a popping noise [8D]

but their only 3" mids in them.....tweeters sound nice and smooth....

you could get some CDT midbass drivers for less than 150. 10 times better speakers. I could give you an entire list that would be better than Polk, or infinity.
