Default Possible dead channel

Hello,
I have a 96' blazer 4 door LT model with 4.3l. So I thought I had a bad passenger front speaker. I wasn't sure if I actually had the dash component tweeters but I do. The front passenger door speaker and the passenger side dash tweeter is also not working. The drivers side tweeter and door speaker are working fine. also the rear door speakers are fine.

I'm assuming I probably need a head unit now...any input out there would be appreciated.
Thanks Guys

So my speaker problem is just that...a bad speaker and not a bad channel.
In removing the door panels, I did notice that the working speaker on the driver side had a tear in the cone. I'm sure that was put in when I had a repair shop replace a broken mirror that was knocked off in an automatic car wash. The repair shop also broke a couple of the ****** clips and didn't have any replacements either.
Anyway, got some 6.5 Fosgates coming in a couple days.
Is there enough room when using the factory speaker mount to add a 3/16" adapter plate that accepts the new mounting pattern?
Thanks

Should be, if I recall correctly. Those plates are designed for a 'no modification' install. Should be pretty quick and easy.
