i like the amps and the subs are pretty good but were those amps separately fused? and the wiring looked like a rats nest...

not trying to pick it apart but i just worry about the safety of sound systems and people riding in the car/truck with you

WOW! Two 500/1's on two Alpine subs. That is an aweful lot of power on bass. Do you have your highs amplified? Sell a 500/1 to a friend and buy a 300/4 and amp those mid and tweets. Ported boxes are very effecient, I bet it would sound not much different with one amp running them. It is also harder to calibrate the two amps to be putting out the same bump. Nice equipment to have though.

Well I ran all the wires through the passenger side pannel, and under the back seat, that's where all the extra wires were stored. And yes it looks messy it didn't zip ties the wires because I only had the system in for a month. So everything was hidden. And I only had one amp hooked up, when i tried to hook up the other wires, it wasn't working so I didn't risk it. I sold one amp for 240 with a set of wires, then the other for 200. I'm selling the subs for 200, the box is dual chambered and polly filled. They put two L7 12s on 700 watts each to shame, with my alpines only getting 250ish. The owner of the L7's and his friend were amazed

Man of ii had them both hooked up, that still wouldn't be enough bass for me lol. But no I only had one amp hooked up, and sold them like i said, now selling the subs and a 10W7

how were you blowing the 100 amp fuse on a 500/1? i'm running a 1000/1 with an 80 amp fuse and am yet to blow it. my main fuse for 2 amps is 200. anyways...

i have 1000 watts and after hearing a new super secret SSA sub on 3000 watts.... i want more haha

i said on bigger setups, meaning i had different setups. ive had a 1000/1 a A1800, a p1000.2, but i used to bump my **** every day, for hours at a time, used to drive far for work, and deliver, and i played it non stop loud
