Yup. I've been in the car stereo biz since its conception. In the 70's we had Sparkomatic 40 watt Sound Exploders and Jensen 6 x 9 Triaxials. Ha! 80's... the minitruck scene and Giant plentiful subwoofers. 90's.... IASCA competitions . 2000... What? Cant hear what you said.

That caprice is awe inspiring. You do some great work and your years of experience show in the quality and layout Allwaysblazin.

I like the thought of no head unit. Just a smooth factory dash, not alot of light at night. I always thought of a hidden head unit or the such with a sensor under the dash that would pick up a signal from a remote. But the laptop works. Agian, that looks great!

Thanks for the compliments all. I've been working on this thing for almost a year now. The end is near! Oh and no laptop here...It is a Abit motherboard in the trunk in front of the amps. The monitor in the front is actually a Pyle 15" VGA. There is also a 8" touchscreen monitor in the back of the center console in case your chillin back there. I am using a Soundblaster pro 7.1 soundcard and a 150 gig Raptor 10,000 rpm HDD. I also use a 500 gig usb drive in the center console for music. There is also a LG bluray player in the front for movies and cd's. I was amazingly able to find a custom 12' long SATA cable on ebay for the Bluray player. Notice the Alpine center channel speaker above the monitor, the touch mouse and the griffin tech. volume control ****.

Dont pay any attention to that blue steering wheel . I havent picked out the billet one I want yet. This use to be a police cruiser back in the day. Picked it up at a auction
