Well how do i find out if its stable at 1 ohm or not?

Like it has a certifacation that says it produced 1353 rms @ 1 ohm, but that doesnt neccisarily mean its stable at 1 ohm does it?

sure it would.....and even alot of amps are stable below 1 ohm, but they dont really advertise it.

lowest rated impedence for my amp is 1ohm, but with the right toys it can be ran at .5 daily

thanks lol..

sorry so many questions, i just dont want to hutrt my equipment..

I just realized that my sub says it runs at 2-8 ohms... so does that mean i cant run my sub at 1 ohm, if i wire 2 of them? or does that only matter for amps...are there subs that run at 1 ohm?

Its an audiopipe txx-apx-15rd

iTS GOT A 3 INCH dual voice coil...i know its got positive and negative inputs on both sides...

im reading the documentation, and i dont see anything close to what that is...

and i just noticed it doesnt say 2-8 ohm operation, it says 2 ohm OR 8 ohm opperation if that makes a difference...

This means the sub has dual 4 ohm coils. So yes with a pair of these subs you can achieve a 1ohm load. And it appears your amp is 1ohm stable so this will be good.

but right now, my SINGLE sub is wired in paralell with its dual voice coils... would this change when i add the second? or would i keep it wired up like that...

Thanks again for your help...that diagram answered the rest of my amp/sub questions... i REALLY appreciate you guys helping me out here..

i do have yet another question though ( i gotta stop saying "just one more question" hehe)

.im planning on buying a speaker amp, but i dont know what power ratings im looking at for SPEAKERS, 2ohm or 4ohm? which is better to run a speaker on? also, i have a 6 speaker setup, and all speaker amps ive found are 4 channel, is it ok to combine ALL outputs of the amp i buy and then divide them equally to each speaker?
