This is what is waiting to be installed:

Alpine CDA-9856 with remote
-ipod cable, 20gig ipod attached (No more cds needed!)
-Swi-X Steering Wheel Control Adapter
-Jewel case metra kit 99-4000(place to put ipod in)
Subthump Blazer .6cu box, for pics look in my other thread "dying carpet"
-Elemental Designs 11kv.2 D2 10" sub
-Hifonics TX1505D 500w 4ohm Class D amp, remote gain
-4 gauge amp wiring kit from eBay with free tweeters

I read that its best to leave the remote for the Amp in the box plus I am pretty sure the deck has sub controls on it. Ill try and see how to correctly figure out how to set up the amp settings. Still need to figure out speakers, and wether or not to amp them, my Alpine deck came with Dual 6.5 XP65I 100w speakers, think they are better than stock Bose stuff? Might pick up a nicer set of components and throw these in for rear fill if they wont be crap, but dual doesnt seem to have the best rep from what Ive read.

Any Suggestions/thoughts?

Love the deck, that is a nice one. have put my fair share of those in cars. I like ED subs, just don't tweak the amp too much, will riach those pretty quick. THe Dual speakers are junk, the factory prob sound better. I would look into getting components for the front. Yes, throw the remote for the amp in the box or just chuck it in the trash.

Looks good so far. and the SWI-X's are relaly nice. easy to install and never fail if installed correctly.
