Default RE SR15???

Well, I was looking to put 2 12" Eclipse titanium subs in my 96 2door, but they seem to have dropped that series sub.
So, I'm currently looking at a set or 15" RE SR subs. Anybody have any experience with these?
I will be running a RF 1000a2 amp to them. I'm looking for something real loud, and that can take a beating.
Unless you guys have something better that isn't kicker, alpine, audiobahn, or whatever, for around $600 a pair.
I was thinking about MTX 9500, but not sure how theyde take the abuse.
Basically I'delike them to be able totaketurning it up all the way daily.
I was running 4 12" RF HE2 DVC for a while in my 2 door exploder, and then in my 97 protege. It was loud, but then on 3 of the 4 subs the magnets started seperating from the baskets.

Thanks for any help in advance.
-Nick.

dont have personal experience with those exact subs, but RE makes some great subs. might be underpowering them tho.

The RE SR15 subs handle around 300-400 RMS each. I think it'de be perfect power wise. I wish I could make up my mind lol.

I was never a fan of alpine or kicker(except the L7). MTX isn't too high on my list either, but I hear nothing but praises on the 9500.
I'm staying away from fosgate subs as well, ever since the magnet incident I won't trust them.

I've narrowed my options down to....
2 15" Image Dynamics IDQ
2 15" RE audio SR15
1 15" ORION H2
1 15" Eclipse Ti (if I can find one)
2 12" Eclipse Ti (same as above)
This just sucks because there are no shops around here that have any of these subs hooked up for me to listen to. and www.realmofexcursion.com doesen't have the best videos for these subs.

This will all be in a ported box, built by a local stereo shop, as I have no time to build it.

I hate these hard decisions.....

I'd take an R over an L7 anyday.....them and there crap azz suspension.

The Ti's are pretty insane, my vote goes to them, or the H2's.....I like them too. The PPI DCX line is pretty much the same as the H2's, and prolly cheaper.......

I think I decided on a 15" DD 3513d in a 4.5 cubic foot ported box, tuned to 35-40hz...
