running amp in 97 LT

Default running amp in 97 LT

I am wondering if there is a hole predrilled to run 4 gauge wire through or if i actually have to drill my own hole?

Best bet would be to probably drill your own hole. That way you can put it where you need to... You could possibly slip it up along the steering column, but last I looked, there really wasn't much room around it...

Yep there really is no pre-existing hole that the power wire is gonna go through, looks like ya gonna have to get out the ol' drill!

right under the passenger carpet, there is a grommet for the antenna wire. I just pulled the grommet out and ran power wire right there. no need to drill any holes!! the grommett is dead center, basically right between where your feet would be if you were sitting in the seat. reach up under dash, and pull back the carpet. there is a large black grommet with a wire going through it. pull that grommet out and you can run 0 guage if you want, I did!!!
