some folks swear by the ipod quality, but its still not ideal. Really, there wont be a very noticible difference, but I know folks with both. Most without the IDA are happier with their purchase, because of the fact that they can just go out and buy a new cd and play it. If it were me, I would get the Eclipse CD5000 and the add-on IPC-106. 3 sets of 8v outputs and the time alignment and 7band eq.

Eclipse CD5000

IPC-106

for only 30 bucks more or so.

im sure eclipse decks sound great but they sure are ugly [:'(]

How would you compare the cda 9886 to the eclipse cd5000? Isnt that an old model for the eclipse? Thanks
