Hi, I have a 2002 Blazer. I currently have a Kenmore stereo and an infinity kappa amp installed. They work fine when the engine is running, however when I put the key to the accessory or on position the radio and amp appear to "restart" or continuously power on, then power off. The stereo never even fully initializes... blank screen, starting, blank screen... The lights in the vehicle stay on... I'm not sure if it is an electrical issue or if there is some short effecting only these two things?

I completely unplugged the amp just to see if it had any effect on the stereo but it didn't. I also went as far as swapping the stereo out with a different pioneer head unit and that one had the same issue as well. any ideas?

I needed to jump start it this morning and found an issue with my battery. I think it's fixed now... I replaced the car battery that was going bad and everything seems fine.
