Default Speaker Adapter Plates

I am new to this forum and to Blazers. I picked up a '99 Blazer a few months ago and have found a lot of great information here. I have 2 pair of Pioneer 6.5" speakers that I would like to mount in my front/rear doors. Can I mount these on the current speaker plates or do I need to purchase adapter plates? Any comments would be helpful. Thanks.

they will fit without modification. mounting holes will not match, but they will work fine.

You can usually line up atleast one sometimes 2 or 3 of the mounting holes and then just drill a new hole for the ones that dont line up.
