Default Speaker Harness??

So I ordered all new door speakers for my 2000 trailblazer and I was told that i need some speaker harnesses which cost around 13 bucks? Do I need these for all 4 doors or no?? and I was also wondering how hard it isto remove my rear hatch panel because I am installing some foam inbetween there, any ideas???

You dont need the speaker harnesses. Most folks just cut off the factory connector and crimp on some new wire to get to the speaker. The back hatch is pretty easy, just panel clips if i remember.

I spliced my front and dash speakers to the factory wires. The rear hatch im pretty sure is only clips no screws. Basically just take the handle off, possibly one screw behind the handle, and pop it off.
