HEY yall i just got $130 to drop on my truck, I know im getting new 6" door speakers, I am just wondering if yall could help me with what brand to get.

Im looking at :

PIONNER
SONY XPLODE
and anyothers for $60.00 and below.

 

I personally like Massive, but they are like $150 or so. I wouldnt go with sony, I have had many friends get sony and they suck. I dont like anything from Pionner but their Decks.

 

i have sony speakers and i havent had any probs with them they dont sound bad

 

I have a Pioneer head unit and 4x6's in the dash and 3-way 6x9's in the back, they are great speakers and don't cost all that much (got mine at Wal-Mart....)

 

sony sux, ask any pro. for that little amount of money, id go with pioneer, alpine, or infinity

 

For the same price as the sony's ($50 - from Crutchfield) the blue pioneers are a better speaker. They also make matching 4" speakers for the dash, just make sure you get the adaptor if you go that way.

 

I agree that Sony isn't the best. I have asked at stereo shops and tehy all say only really high end Sony are worth it.
