alpine alpine alpine...........i love the sound quality i listened to many speakers at bestbuy and i chose alpine for clarity reasons but they can be a little spendy compared to other brands another good brand is kenwood in my opinion alot of there speakers are high quality, pioneers are good if u like alot of bass but i dont think they have quit as much quality on the high notes....this is just my opinion its obviously ur choice

IMO pioneer suck, I would go with Alpine, Clarion or Infinity. I perfer Infinity for their clear sound, they rock.

I have to say with my experience with my blazer the best sounding speakers have been the polk momo 6 1/2" coaxials I put in the doors, even without the dash speakers the sound completely surrounds you and its so clear you can hear it perfect going down the street windows down, with a flowmaster 40's set up. Can't beat that

I had Yamaha's in one of my cars and they were awesome-but somebody broke in a ripped them out. I like the Alpines too-the range os good. You've got good Midi. A problem w/a lot of the speakers and with people who don't understand sound, is they're too 'basey' and 'trebely' but there isn't any mid-range. I cannot stand the distortion.
I have Mirage speakers at home. I bought them from a high-end dealer who deals in mostly Bang&Olufson equiptment. I wish they made car speakers.

I would take pioneers over the infinity any day.

The infinitys midrange isnt the best, and the highs are way to bright for me.

Best buy isnt the best place to determine the sq of speakers.

I've heard tons of crappy sounding system that used nice gear, it really is "all in the install".
