I know this has been covered extensivly, but i can get a pair of pioneeer TS-164P for $40. are these good speakers? the only problem is that there 6 in. I was plannin on putting them into the rear doors. Iknowthere not the best speakers out there but there better than stock speakers. Will i be able to put 6 in speakers in the 6 1/2 in space given?

you may be able to, but if you do, you will want to use a sound deadener to cover up the gap. i would say dont do it and get 6.5's to get better quality as well as save the hassle.
