Speakers don’t get loud

Speakers don’t get loud
I can hear sound coming from all the speakers but when I turn it all the way up it doesn’t get louder than a whisper.
the speakers are stock, the head unit is not

Update
I got a new head unit that provides 55w each to all 4 speakers and now it sounds great. Old head unit must’ve just been absolute trash couldn’t even find a brand name on it when I tore it down to its bare circuit board
