just gng to have to meter the 12v constant and switched and then start tracing wires back into the harness, and then back to fuse panel.

do you have a digital multi-meter? if not you can pick one up at walmart, radioshack or home depot or lowes for as cheap as probably 10 bucks, up to about 300. Fluke, greenlee and Craftsman make pretyt nice meters.

You will want to meter (check the voltage) on both of the yellow and the red coming out of the truck harness. Use the radio ground as the ground while metering. Check both with key in all positions, then report back on what you find.

it was the ignition wire. my buddy finally got me to cave and take it to mickey shorrs. (spelled wrong im sure) and they ended up just redoing everything and they got it to work right. i dont know exactly what it was because my buddy picked it up for me (i was at work) all he knows is that they told him it was the ignition wire lol
thanks for all the help man
