Default Stock blazer radio issue...

In my 2001 Blazer, I just wired up the harness for the radio and put in a stock radio. It will not turn on and will not say LOC for the theft lock. The time will pop up if I press the recall, min, hr, and set buttons. But thats it. Anyone have any ideas?

im not an expert but go buy a new radio or get one from a friend sounds like the best option i bought cheapo from wal mart for 70 bucks and it works great and autozone sell all the wiring harnesss you need so you dont have to cut your factory wires

What do you mean when you say, you wired up the harness and put a stock radio back in? If you have the factory wiring (which I hope you do) all you should have had to do was plug the radio in and go from there. If the stock wires were cut, I'd go to a junk yard and find a Blazer and cut the wire harness (leave enough wire to work with) and simply match colors. Have you checked the fuses?
