That is a nice looking box, but Im kinda in the same position.. I currently have a 2 12 box (which I really like), but Im tempted to go in another direction (would be nice to use the cargo area for, cargo). Is there anyone that has done a "stealth" sub install??

That is more along the lines of what I was looking to see.. Do you have the amps mounted to the floor in between the subs? I couldnt really tell in the pic

Yes, they are in between the subs... My intention was to build a false floor over the amps i just haven't had the time to do so.

well i will through my 2 cents in and let out a secret i am working on. I have a dd 4 door 1994 jimmy 2wd. i have a few years with audio and have shared a bit hear and there on this site even. RE, Alpine, Kicker, Lanzar Optidrive, American Bass, Power Acoustik, Fusion, Treo, Audiopipe, ect - i have played with a bit. but here is a lil idea i had for my baby. I have kids and need cargo, im a audio enthusiust and need some noise. I am planning a Planet Audio full install in the truck, in dash 5.25 and tweets on A pillars, 6.5 set in center console and back doors. Autotek amps (4 channel and D class mono) and 4x 12" subs
Here is the tricky part.
amps - under false floor, mounted in middle of area.
2 extra batteries - on sides between wheel well and rear hatch.
4x subs without lossing cargo room - priceless
a 30x30 inch enclosure, roughly 4.5 cubic feet. ported 7.5 inch diameter tube @ 20 inches and 35 Hz all off the back glass -
AND BOLTED TO THE ROOF!
9 Lag bolts, some reinforced roof spots, and a little body work later
Amazing with lower roof warping. let me know if you interested as i will be starting a build forum for the project.

mine is a pretty standard box ported 10" pointed up so it doesn't distort the 6x9s. I was trying to maximize trunk space not sure what you're going for
