Sub Positioning Conundrum
I ended up doing my complete install this weekend and it really sounds great
. the wiring of the amp wasn't too easy, mainly because it was about 40 degrees and windy, but I ended up mounting the amp to the back of the 60% seat fold down plastic piece. Looks clean with no exposed wiring and sounds awesome.
I would have mounted my amp under the cargo cover on the jack/spare tire equipment cover, but my wiring wouldn't reach and the wiring would have been a pain to hide.
They're facing toward the tailgate now, but I am going to play around with positioning... maybe try them pointed at the roof like benedict1337.

I too have my sub facing the roof, i'm running a JL 12w6v2 and it sounds pretty good. to me, there isn't a whole lot of difference between towards the tailgate and the roof. I personally did this because i too use my trunk for work/play/coaching(baseball bags ruined my last sub that faced the tailgate)
