I would still recommend the Infinity 7541A. great amp for the price

 

Where would you recommend buying it from, and it pushes 111rms x4 at 4 ohms correct? I'm no car audio expert, but do I have to wire it to 2ohms because the speakers have a 2ohm impedance, and wouldn't that push the wattage even further. I'm not sure man I don't know too much about these kinds of things

i would wire the speakers together on front and then together on rear, and run them at 4 ohms. howoften do you really adjust the balance left to right in your car>

Nope, wouldnt blow your speakers. Just set the gain correctly.

Well thanks for everything man, hope the speakers sound much better once amped, the 6.5's sound decent powered off the deck but the 5x7's sound pretty bad right now... thanks again

Hu power isnt very clean at all. Much better production from an amp.

 

I just tried to get to the headunit, I unsnapped the top portion of the steering wheel column, and then there were 3 screws holding in the bottom part of the column ( under the wheel ), then I unscrewed and unsnapped the part in front of your knees, then I could look towards the center console and I could see the headunit, but I have no idea how to get the rest of it apart... Look at the black parts in this picture ( where the headunit, heater controls, etc are ) I don't know how to get that off... Ok, so I tried to circle it in the third photo, sorry for my bad editing skills, it was paint

why did you try to take it out. didnt they give you the quick release sticks? anyway, i think there might be a screw behind those dummy switches. pry one out with a small screwdriver. i just did an 02 last week too, the plastic around controls just snaps in.

 

I'm just prepping up so when the time comes I know how everything comes off/goes back on, I didn't try to take the deck out, just tried to access it. I just helped my brother do his 1993 mazda b-series pickup and I swear that was so much easier, even if my car is easy [&:], so all that black plastic around everything just snaps off? hmm
