That flex looks pretty weak for having over 7000w rms. I get more than that with 900w.
thats because it was recorded with an iphone, it cant really pick up the "flex", if u look at the water bottle in the end then u can clearly see its giving it hell. i dunno ill try to find my digicam haha.

Why isnt there some kinda flex test? Where you mount something in the car thats standard spec and can switch out "top plates" that give you the "flex" to a standard? Different cars... different flex... My 95 Tracer was made of metal... maybe a combination of tin and bubblegum and it would flex with my pos setup...

if you sound deaden your truck like no other, (like i did), the flex should be minimal. i'll be doing my roof soon because i can hear my rack shaking(even without cross members). Not saying you're stupid, just saying that if you take the time, it'll sound better and look better.

I concur....

In my high school days people would throw a big sub in their car and power it with retarded amps.... Sure it was loud.... But one kid "flexed" the emblems off of his car.... Which is stupid imho, I like the tight bass.... I almost would prefer 8's to 15's in that sense... But somedays, I do admit, Blowing huge sound through the truck is awesome, but other days, I dont wanna make myself a target.... living in the "city" lol

There's over 100sqft on my roof alone, 5-6 layer, even more in some spots with spray foam in between every brace to stiffen it. I still have more flex than him, silent flex, but its still much more than him. For 7,000w it should be destroying that roof, not barley moving a bottle of water

i don't understand how you can get that much flex with proper deadening. but i also don't spl it so. i have very very minimal flex without deadener
