Tommorow's Project
So tommorow after work i will be tearing my dash apart and getting to my stock radio in my 98 blazer. The sound is crappy like its dead lol so i will need to see if who had it before me did something to the radio or what. any one else have a problem like that
see the wierd thing is is that they sound fine, its just the radio is real low, so im going to attempt to see if it was replaced and they put the stock one back in and did something wrong, or its the head unit.
Well got the dash apart, and took the radio out the connector looks fine so I think it may be th radio in general, any idea what I'm supposed to look for lol. My dash is still kinda taken apart and I have to drive it to work tommorow, so if any one knows I can check it out in the morning
i would just get a new one, they run pretty cheap at wally world, parts, (especially electronic parts) wear out, electronics can wear out faster and mostly do than other mechanical parts. but you most likely knew that.
I would just replace it. I read somewhere that Delco radio's have like a 5 year lifespan on average. Not very good, but walmart has some pretty good radio's for cheap. My local walmart has this Walmart.com: Dual Receiver with SD slot, USB and Bluetooth: Auto Electronics for 110 bucks. I almost purchased it but I didn't have any time constraints so I decided to order a sony off crutchfield.
