Default tuning a box?

I've heard a lot about having a vented box tuned to 35 hz, is there some magic way to do that? pretty clueless here, thanks

get a program like winISD(freeware) or you can use Resonant Engineerings box calculator and you can create a port and it will give you the right length or port based on tuning frequency.

If you look, it tells you the square inches of port you need. You can build any shape that you want, as long as you keep internal airspace and then add in the port area.
