tuning a box?
I've heard a lot about having a vented box tuned to 35 hz, is there some magic way to do that? pretty clueless here, thanks

RE: tuning a box?
get a program like winISD(freeware) or you can use Resonant Engineerings box calculator and you can create a port and it will give you the right length or port based on tuning frequency.

Those resonant engineers have a website? googled it and didn't come up with anything.

sweet!! that is an awsome site! but what if I want to create something other than a cube? will there be different settings or will the same reccomendations for vents still apply?

If you look, it tells you the square inches of port you need. You can build any shape that you want, as long as you keep internal airspace and then add in the port area.

what if I tried to add fucntion to this box? like a long slide droor? if I made two seperate boxes (one for the sub and one for the droor) and put them together would it rattle my teeth out? what if the sub was sealed?
