Audio/Video Electronics Wired up? If you have some sort of A/V modification let's hear about it here. Discussion of stock electrical problems should be done in the 'Lighting & Electrical' section.

Turned out to be a piece of cake :)

Default Turned out to be a piece of cake :)

I approached the installaton of my new double din stereo with trepidation & fear! Not sure if I'd end up having to hack away at the frame and/or bezel - And the still concerned with the finished product.

No worries - worked a treat. All I did was strip the stock stereo, cut the mounting brackets off it's frame, fastened it to the sides of the new unit & that's it! Perfectly positioned in the bezel

Opening with bezel in place

Cut up the frame for the brackets

New mounting brackets fitted

Stereo fitted (still to fit the black surround between the stereo & bezel to hide the gaps)

I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

Thanks mate! Yea, being RHD always leaves one unsure of mods because of the differences but this one turned out good.

Of course, here we don't get a mounting kit specifically for the blazer & then also as I found, no wiring connectors. Just had to cut & join the wires. I had an installer guy come out & do the wiring for me.

This unit also has bluetooth & I've mounted the microphone above the rear view mirrior.

Next is to get the rear view camera
