ok so i have a viper 560xv car alarm, remote starting system. I recently bought some new remotes, and programmed them for the alarm and remote start. But when i went to try the start it turned the engine, started it then killed as soon as it started. before i programmed them, the remote start worked fine. so im asking what did i do wrong and how do i fix it?

 

I'm in the same situation right now with my 791, I recommend disconnecting the brain and letting it reset it self. Well that's what I'll be doing tomorrow/today. Check all the connections as well.

What were the steps that you did to program the remotes? You might have to go into programming again and reprogram the r/s. Did you install this yourself? Did you run a tach wire or go voltage sense??
