What sound deadener and how much did you go with for your front doors? I'm planning to go with some Audio technix sound deadener, but can't make up my mind on how much to buy and such. i'll only be doing my front doors on my 01 4 door blazer since the trunk lid doesn't rattle. My plan is to get some sound deadener so my components can sound good (so i can be able to hear some mid bass) Audio technix has 25 sq ft 60 mil for 54 + s/h and the 80 mil for 84 + s/h. what is a better buy buying 1 pack of the 80 mil or buying 2 packs (50 sq ft) of 60 mil(audio technix 60 mil) for 128 shipped from ebay. what and how much did you guys use on your front doors ? if you guys have some before and after pictures and videos that'd be great! thanks

Personally, I have used several brands over the years and I prefer the spray on deadiner. It's a little messy, but much easer to apply on any surface that isn't relatively flat. I used Spectrum by 2nd skin last time and will use it again.

I ordered 25 sq ft of 80 mil yesterday. I hope that goes good, have seen many great reviews and it's proven to work just as good as secondskin from what i can tell...

Good luck. I really can't tell much difference in any of the top of the line matt type deadiners. Just don't go with any of the old residential deadiners. They were made of tar or something like that. I never did get that odor out of my old 69 Chevelle. I prefer the liquid types myself, but that's just a personal preference. 2nd skin has new owners now (about a year ago if memory serves me) so I can't attest to their quality. I haven't purchased any myself since then.

I went with the 80 mil Audio technix . I hope the 25 sq ft will be enough to do my front doors completely.

i've never heard of Audio Technix before. i used raam mat for my truck, second skin in my buddy's astro van, and dynamat in my brother's avalanche. I prefer the raam mat because its cheaper than the other two and it does darn good. good luck with the audio technix. put up the review when you're done.

I will as soon as i get everything going and when i get time. Audio technix is supposed to be better than dynomatt. I'm a member to a few car audio forums and it's gotten great reviews.

i'm not a fan of dynamat. Second Skin is my favorite choice of all materials i've seen or used. raam mat for cost to application but second skin is best of all honestly.

SDS is some of the best stuff i've seen but isn't mainstream enough for people to know. good luck, i'm currently sitting in class bored out of my mind

Second skin is known to be great stuff, but i couldn't afford it. I'll see what Audio technix 80mil can do for my application. I'm bored in class
