Where can I get the wirin's?
IMO the amp would be great for a good set of components. That's about the perfect amount of power for a good set of components to get loud and be super clean doing it, just don't skimp on the installation of the speakers. Whether you're talking a sub or a 6.5" speaker the installation will make or break it's performance.
I don't agree with the comment on turning the gain all the way up though. While it won't technically cause any damage it's not good practice. It puts undue stress on both the amp and the sub in the form of excess heat. Not to mention that the distortion it would undoubtedly be producing sounds like **** and it won't be any louder with the gain all the way up than it would with it set properly.
That amp kit would be a great one for your application and should be fine for future upgrades as well.

Alright, well nearly 40 bucks later it's in the system (8 and change for shipping and a buck fifty in taxes). Hopefully they can process it out tomorrow, and UPS can deliver on saturday. I'll be bummed if they can't, but it'll probably save my gas anyways!
I'm not doing a bad installation... You know what they say in (anything), measure twice, cut once!
