Where to put crossovers?

Where to put crossovers?

I'm building some kickpanels for my first-gen and have no idea where im gonna put the crossovers for my components... Any ideas?

are you still using the rear speakers? If not, put the crossovers in there. Thats what Im doing. Otherwise, find anywhere that doesnt get wet. They dont need to be anywhere near the speakers.

Oh cool, but my tweeters came stock with wires... do i have to crimp on extension or what? Can i put the crossovers in the dash?

you can put the crossovers where ever there is room....

cut a hole in the door and mount em there, looks hot.

if you need longer tweeter wires, then yes, you will have to extend them. If your crossovers will fit in the dash then sure, stick them up there.

I put mine in the center console where the stock bose amp used to be.
