you know ur gonna have to put the HID in the high beam housing right?? i had those lights on my truck and thats what i had to do
Yeah, I heard that someplace else too. He said that his 9006 bulbs didnt fit in the low beam.

And then i talked to the HID professional on S-10 forum (who has done everything imaginable with HID's and ebay projectors)

He said that the ebay projectors with the halos around the High beam, require the 9006 HID bulbs for the projector
and the ebay projectors with halos around the low beam require H1 HID bulbs for the projectors.

Well, I bought those headlights,
and an HID kit for $71.98 shipped
and a HID fuse relay harness today.

I dont know when they will show up, soon I hope. I want HID's bad. lol

But I will post pics if I remember!
thanks guys
Chad

I bought mine for a similar price. Seems like the HID craze is booming here. I'm glad they are legal in my state. Well, legal in the high beams.

To get the H1 bulbs to fit in the projector, you more than likely will have to modify the projector.

The H1 halogen is a really skinny bulb...

The HID capsule is a little wider...

You're going to want to take the projector off the headlight to do that, so you don't get metal filings inside of it.

First, you'll need to do an H4 conversion... To do it properly, you'll need to fit bi-xenon projectors into the headlight housings.

The easiest thing to do would be to get a set of HID projector foglights... Ones that are actually designed for HID.
