Default WIRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so... okay... i know this has been explained to me several times.... but heres the thing...... this is the info on my amp....
» 2-channel car amplifier
» 125 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)
» 500 watts RMS in bridged mode at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
my subs are Kicker CVR DVC 2ohm
the wiring suggested by y'all is this....

but this gives a 2 ohm load...... my amp is only stable at 4 ohms in bridged mode..... so..... what does that mean...lol can I wire them like the diagram or do I need to put one on each channel?

the way it looks to me, your going to need a different amp to accomadate what your trying to do. because if you wire each sub up to 4 ohms and put each on a channel that will only give you 125 to each. your best bet would be to take your subs back where every you got them and get 2 dual 4 ohm subs or get a mono amp that does 500 watts at 2 ohms...sorry i couldn't be any more help, you may have other options with that setup but none come to mind...if i'm wrong someone please correct me as i would hate to give him wrong info..

can't take them back.... ordered them from crutchfield.... and wouldnt I be pushing 250 to each woofer??? bual channels at 2 ohms = 250 per channel according to the amp info..................... I was advised by several people on here and at a car stereo shop ot get the 2ohm subs..... whats wrong with wiring the subs one per channel? I want it wired at 2 ohms not 4.... so why can't I just plug one 2ohm sub into each channel?? wont that run the 2 ohm sub at 2 ohms????

NO.

A SINGLE dual 2 ohm sub can be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohms. you cannot produce a 2 ohm load off 1 dual 2 ohm sub, so no you cant wire each sub to 2 ohms seperately, it just will not work. If you had two dual 4 ohm subs you would be good to go because you could wire each of them to 8 ohms then bridge them together to produce a "bridged" 4 ohm load, or you could wire them each to 2 ohms and run one to each channel, my advice get a different amp cuz it's just not going to work..trust me.
