Default CAP question

Im running two KICKER L7 15" off a Infinity 1800 watt amp with a 2 farad capacitor and my **** still dims i thought it was 1000 watts per 1 farad is how its estimated NO?

Search and you will find... I know it may be hard to believe, but a lot of stuff has been covered here in the past. Check out the Which capacitor brand is best? thread...

Also, I will refer to the rules of the forum once again. Specifically #1 which prohibits the use of foul language. Clean it up.

pretty much search ANY public audio or car forum (that has an audio section) and you will find that caps are a huge waste of money for most people.

yea but everytime i search it i always get the same answers?? i think it has to do with sumthing else ne way since i had it in the same system in my 02 Explorer and i never had problems with it dimming

Here's the quick version of why caps are no good. The cap cannot recharge and discharge enough times to keep the voltage at the proper level. So basically if you replace your capacitor with a small battery you will have much better results. Also consider doing "The Big 3".

if you always get the same answers, then you should know exactly how to fix your dimming problem without using a cap. You should also know exactly what the problem really is.
