Chevy is going to kill a lot of old men. Hear me out. The radio knows when the car is moving and you can't manually enter a destination address in Android Auto because you are driving, so they force you to use the voice tool. It also won't let you engage your phone MP3 player while the car is moving. Old Men who used flip phones their whole lives finally broke down and got a smartphone to work with their car radio and the old men will be frustrated not being able to get it to work while driving and run their car off the road by mistake. Half of that is true with me. I didn't crash my Blazer, but I was frustrated that I had to pull over. They are punishing responsible adults to try to save the lives of sniveling teens.

 

I would guess there's some way to eliminate that "feature" through tuning, but I'm sure it's beyond the capabilities of most tuning tools and most people operating them. Our government wouldn't make it easy to defeat what they consider to be an important safety device.
