2020 Blazer USB flash drive issue
Hello. We have a 2020 Blazer. The console has one USB port and one USB-c port. We had a 64 gb flash drive plugged in for the last year. Formatted correctly. Worked until today. No longer recognized as an audio option. Brought it in the house and plugged into computer. Shows up fine. Erased and reformatted 3 different ways but none allowed it to be recognized by the vehicle.
Here’s where it gets weird. I started assuming the port itself was bad. I went and grabbed my USB cable from my Cruze that I use to plug my phone in for CarPlay. Plugged it in to the USB outlet in the Blazer and plugged it into my iPhone. Immediately my phone buzzed, power was being received by it and CarPlay started up on the Blazer.
I’m truly perplexed here. Why would the port not work for a flash drive that worked up until today and still works in both my computer and the Cruze?
