I wish these were heated, but they're still an upgrade none the less :)

I'm also going to install the overhead console with the MODE selector (with the MPG readout) from the same vehicle too :D

Working for a junk yard certainly seems to have its advantages.

Indeed it does sir :) I enjoy it!

Bolted on some new droop bump stops today, some urethane low profile universal ones from Energy Suspension. Originals just fell off when the bolt snapped as soon as I tried to take them off when I was doing the suspension work lol. Had I had known they were just going to shear off I would have never messed with them, but oh well, got some new ones on for $10 regardless now so it's all good

Leather seats are going in :)

Got the rears bolted in over my lunch break. Going to do the front left tomorrow over lunch. Then I'll mess with the front right over the weekend, I think I'm going to have to run power for it. No big deal, but probably not something I can knock out over a lunch break anyway lol

On another note, anyone near the north Florida area want some nice condition cloth seats, hit me up :) They'll be going in the classifieds soon, and on Craigslist as well lol

Threw the driver's in today :)

Pleasantly surprised to find that that the memory settings function just like it should!

Then proceeded to pull the passenger out to see if that side was pre-wired for the power seat that's about to go in it. My hopes dropped a little when I removed the seat and didn't see the pigtail. But I stuck my arm under the carpet through the hole that the air duct comes through and reached back to the harness running from side the side back there, and low and behold, a plug! :D So tomorrow the passenger side is getting bolted in!

Dang plug was way back here! I half expected it to just be right up by the hole if it had it, but I had the body side pigtail if not, so I would have just ran power over to it.

Wow, it's been a WHILE, quite literally a year! The Blazer's had some changes in the last year :)

As far as fixes go...

Rebuilt the rear brakes; they started squeaking, figured it was time for an overhaul. Took the same approach as on the front, scrapping off rust and painting and making everything all purdy during reassembly :)

Balljoints, AGAIN... went with Moog this time, lesson learned...

Had a solenoid fail in the trans and lost 1st and 2nd gear. Dropped the pan and replaced every solenoid on the valve body as well as the entire wiring harness.

Not so much as a fix, more routine maintenance, changed the plugs and I'm pretty sure the ones that were in it were original from the factory lol

As far as mods, I've thrown on some OEM carbon fiber skids

Also threw on a brush guard and roof rack that I picked up used. Didn't take long and I had an LED light bar on both :)

Latest change, 2" shackles and 1.5" torsion bar lift, and some 31x10.5x15 wheels and tires! Completely changed the attitude of the Blazer!

What size bar is on that basket and can you get closer shots of how you mounted it?

It's 40"

Right now it's sort of ghetto mounted to the rack with some conduit clamps... works, and holds sturdy, but looks a little cheesy lol. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I maybe just painted the bracket's black, but I'm planning on it being temporary; I want to get just a 36"-38" bar and put it in place of the 40" so it doesn't stick out to the sides so far and actually tucks fully into the roof rack (I think it looks a little goofy the way it protrudes out the sides lol)

It looks good man, I've got a 50" that I'm trying to figure out a way to get it on the roof without looking too bad. I like how you mounted it inside the basket, I might use that idea. Thanks!
